File360 has an easy-to-use interface that provides quick access to documents regardless of their media of storage. The File360 user has the capability to organize retrieved documents and distribute them as print, fax, e-mail, routed internal folder or delivered external folder (see description of "folder" in Folder Management below).

File360 has a batch scanning sub-system for high-volume scanning and an on-line scanning capability for low-volume or distributed scanning. File360 is also compatible with most 3rd party capture systems you may already be using. The data entry interface is designed for a production workload and has the ability to receive OCR, ICR, or barcode indexing information. These interfaces combined with the File360 database interface tool for merging existing customer data, can minimize or eliminate manual document indexing.

Your existing LAN/WAN environment will satisfy most of the File360 hardware and software requirements. The client/server architecture of File360 utilizes the power of today's Microsoft Server technology while providing an easy installation for workstations using Microsoft Windows clients. The open design allows support for most popular database packages including native connection to Microsoft SQL Server and ORACLE along with an ODBC interface.

If you use Microsoft Exchange or Lotus Notes, File360 comes pre-integrated for these e-mail packages for document distribution. Written with Microsoft standards in mind, users familiar with today's Windows environment will quickly master the capabilities of File360. Administrators will find the management tools intuitive.

Features

An information management system providing full featured document management with unique digital and analog image capabilities. There is no limit to the number of applications and adding applications is intuitive and simple using the easy-to-use GUI tools.

Folder Management

Stores as an external folder a collection of user specified documents in a self-contained imaging system. This folder can be transferred to a digital storage media- such as CD, DVD, flash drives - for distribution. Recipients of this media can access and view these documents using the same easy-to-use retrieval interface that is used by a File360 client.

Internet/Intranet

Allows a user to access documents through the power of the Web. The File360 web design provides the look and functionality a user expects while still maintaining a high level of security.

Distributed Database Support

Supports native interfaces for Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle along with an ODBC interface. Allows multiple databases to be supported by a single File360 system.

Distributed Document Repositories

Supports multiple jukebox managers and can use most digital storage systems available (CD, OD, DVD, RAID). File360 also offers an interface to EMC Centera. In addition, File360 supports off-line media such a paper files and microfilm.

Document Support

Stores all documents related to your business: scanned or filmed, black/white or colored, faxes, photos, videos, PC files, and computer output (COLD).

Scalability

Expands from a standalone system to an enterprise solution. File360 can start as small as you want and grow as large you need.

Routing

Allows routing and workflow functionality to conform to the needs of a production environment.

Integratable
