Accelerate responsiveness to business or transaction events with repeatable and automated processes

G360 Process Designer is the key to enabling rapid process design, deployment, and improvement.

Process Designer enables business process owners to easily define:

  • Business processes
  • Rules defining how those processes will execute
  • Resources to perform steps within the process
  • Business goals for which the process must optimize

Utilizing an easy-to-use graphical modeling interface, G360 Process Designer allows “drag-and-drop” of worksteps into a process map. No programming is necessary.

  • Easy, point-and-click configuration
From a palette of icons, worksteps representing key elements of the business process are selected and dropped onto the process map, which becomes the blueprint for the end-to-end business process. Double-clicking on a workstep icon launches an automated wizard that “steps” the user through configuration of the workstep within the map.
  • Sub-routes and branching
Processes built within G360 can contain any number of sub routes, which can branch to routes in other process maps based on virtually any criteria. This modular construction facilitates simplified representation of complex processes. Reuse of common processes promotes standardization and reliability.
  • Extensible worksteps
Organizations can create their own worksteps for inclusion on the Process Designer workstep palette. This enables significant reusability of common worksteps specific to your business.
  • Define rules for tracking and monitoring
Information about the process, process participants, and work items can be easily configured for tracking and reporting, giving management the right information at the right time.
  • Create integration points with external systems
A set of worksteps provided with G360 enables integration to SQL databases, message queuing systems, Web services or specific applications such as PeopleSoft or SAP.
  • Define business goals for tracking, monitoring and optimizing work
A set of Goal Management worksteps let users create service categories and assign service level goals. These goals provide real-time information on how processes are managing to business goals.
  • Create forms for organizing and presenting information about the workitem
Forms and form elements can be easily created and associated with workitems.
