Global 360 Bulks Up in Europe*
Global 360 has announced it is expanding its European sales team. It said the expansion is hoped to support its European partners and customers and drive market share within the region. Aflac has deployed the G360 Enterprise BPM solution from Global 360 to convert its manual correspondence system into an automated one. The Internet-enabled BPM system automatically routes all work requests received through the company's Web site to the appropriate department. The new system reduces cycle times and speeds response time to customers, according to a recent news release.

TA Lands Software Co. After Long Courtship
TA Associates recently bought Global 360, a provider of business software services, in a $200 million deal, after keeping an eye on the company for years. Kurt Jaggers, a managing director at the buyout shop, said TA targeted the Texas company after scoping out the rapidly growing market for business process management. Its opportunity came when Sonny Oates, the Dallas businessman and a majority owner in Global 360, decided he wanted to retire and cash out.
