Royce Bell is the Chief Executive Officer of Accenture Information Management Services. For over 25 years, Bell has gained deep experience in management consulting, technology and outsourcing services while working with a number of large multinational companies. He has worked with Shell, BP and several government institutions and today is part of the BP Leadership Development group.

Becky Bertram is originally from Durham, NC. She graduated with honors from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI, in 1999, with a double major in Art History and German. Entering the workforce during the height of the Dot Com boom, she originally aspired to become a graphic designer, only to find herself learning more and more about the back-end side of Web development. By studying for her first MCSD certification back in 2002, she essentially taught herself how to program.

Becky dove right into the consulting world after graduation and has been building Web solutions using the Microsoft platform ever since. Once of her first projects was to help launch Amway's e-commerce site, Quixtar.com, back in 1999. Becky first became familiar with the concept of Web Content Management (WCM) when she worked with Quixtar's proprietary WCM system. She was introduced to Microsoft Content Management Server in 2001 and has since built WCM solutions for customers using MCMS 2001, MCMS 2002, SharePoint 2003, SharePoint 2007, and now SharePoint 2010. Becky has helped build solutions for clients such as T.G.I.Friday's, the U.S. Navy, Gallup, Countrywide, Washington Mutual, Verizon, Conoco-Phillips, Clear Channel Communications, and Amway, as well as for smaller clients across the country. Becky has spent the majority of her career working as an independent contractor, and briefly worked for Microsoft Consulting Services.

Becky has gotten her MCSD certification twice, has all four SharePoint 2007 MCTS certs, and has achieved the first of four SharePoint 2010 certifications. Becky was given the Microsoft MVP award for SharePoint Server for 2009 - 2010. She has recently worked with Microsoft to develop one of their exams and is currently in the process of authoring several SharePoint development chapters in an upcoming SharePoint 2010 book, Wrox SharePoint 2010 Six-In-One.

Andrew Connell is an author, instructor and co-founder of Critical Path Training, a SharePoint education focused company. Andrew is a six-time recipient of Microsoft's Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award (2005-2010) for Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) & Microsoft SharePoint Server. He has authored and contributed to numerous MCMS and SharePoint books over the years.

Russ is a genuine mover and shaker in the SharePoint community, being co-founder of Corridor Consulting, a Microsoft partner (and well-known to KnowledgeLake). Corridor provides (mainly) SharePoint-based ECM solutions to a mix of public sector and private enterprises.

As well as running Corridor, Russ is active in the AIIM community. He's the Chair for AIIM's Emerging Technology Group (EmTAG), and so influences the industry on trends and new technologies.

He was also instrumental in establishing SharePointGovernance, a community of SharePoint experts, supported by, among others, AIIM.

Carl Frappaolo is a co-founder and principal with Information Architected. He has over 25 years experience working with a broad array of business solutions including knowledge and content management, information architecture, taxonomies, portals, search engines, Enterprise 2.0, collaboration, innovation management, document management, workflow, business process management (BPM), records management and imaging strategies. Valued for his technical, practical and marketing expertise, he has consulted with a hundreds of organizations spanning multiple industries. Best known as the founder of Delphi Group, and VP of AIIM's Market Intelligence team, Carl is a long-time industry consultant on KM and ECM-related projects. Now leading Information Architect with Dan Keldsen, he is widely referenced in the community, and has knowledge and experience of a wider range of issues, practices and technologies.

Paul is a Microsoft SharePoint MVP and Director of the Microsoft Applications Practices at Computer Generated Solutions (CGS) in New York City. He began working with SharePoint in January 2007 when he joined Conchango (which was eventually acquired by EMC). His professional career has largely revolved around Microsoft technologies, though his earlier work involved 4GLs. Paul's rise to expertise was largely an issue of self-defense. He was placed into increasingly challenging SharePoint projects over time and actively engaged with the community in an attempt to round out his skills. This had the welcoming side effect of catching notice of the MVP community and he was nominated and awarded MVP status in Jul'08. He has maintained MVP status through appearing at SharePoint conferences and engaging with the online community via his blog and MSDN forums and was an active contributor to endusersharepoint.com in its early days.

Karuana Gatimu is a technology professional with 19 years experience in content management, custom application development and corporate training. She is currently the Director of Marketing Operations & Chief SharePoint Architect for Skechers USA and the Principal Enthusiast at SharePointStrategist.com. A contributing author at SharePointGovernance.org she teaches frequently about ECM strategy and best practices for SharePoint implementations.

Ms. Gatimu has implemented technology projects in government, legal, non‐profit and entertainment industries. Her focus on technology as a service to business has allowed her to design and deliver cost effective solutions which serve the needs of the end user. She is also the Vice Chair of SPUGs.org, a non‐profit organization which promotes SharePoint User Groups across the country, a founding member of the Los Angeles SharePoint User Group and a board member for Women in SharePoint.

Frank needs little introduction since he's already known to most in the enterprise software sector. He's at times considered an industry analyst, journalist, event organizer, end-user consultant and advisory board member. Frank's eponymous conferences are well-attended, hugely respected and widely reported.

Officially he's the CEO and chief organizer of the Gilbane Conference series, but he's also a Managing Partner at Lighthouse Seminars LLC, a producer of educational events for enterprise software. Before founding the Gilbane Group he was with the market research and consulting firm CAP Ventures, a 1990s Inc. 500 company. He joined CAP as one of its Board of Directors in 1994 when CAP acquired his own company.

He's also been the founder and former president of Publishing Technology Management, Inc., a founder of the French firm TechnoForum SARL, a co-founder of the Documation conferences in the US, Canada, France, the UK, and Switzerland, and founder of the renowned Gilbane Report. In the early 1980s he held various positions at Texet Corp. and Quadex Corp.

Susan Hanley, President of Susan Hanley LLC (www.susanhanley.com), is a recognized expert in the design, development and implementation of successful portal solutions, with a specialization in Microsoft SharePoint. Sue's client list includes many of the Fortune 500 along with some of the world's leading academic, professional services, and not-for-profit organizations. Arno is a SharePoint MVP, based in the UK. He currently works at Sword, an international SI. Arno is a Principal Consultant for the Sword ECM team and has delivered SharePoint projects all over the world. Arno has been in the SharePoint industry from the very beginning.

For the last decade he has organized developer communities, culminating in him founding SharePoint Magazine. It's one of the most popular sites with SharePoint developers, and Arno has gained an international reputation as a result.

He describes himself not as an evangelist but someone who will recommend the best technology for the appropriate purpose.

Ted writes the training materials for Microsoft for its SharePoint product set. He is closely involved with Microsoft's DPE team in researching and authoring education material for SharePoint developers and wrote the Microsoft Press title ‘Inside Windows SharePoint Services 3.0'. He's currently revising the content of this book for SharePoint 2010.

Ted's day job is as an author, instructor and cofounder of Critical Path Training (see Influencer #5), a company dedicated to education on SharePoint technologies. Critical Path is a direct route to a dozen SharePoint MVPs, who teach Ted's courses (and some are also in this Top50 list).
