User Experience Designer

We are looking for a full-time User Experience designer to join our Product Design department in Alameda, CA.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

As a User Experience Designer, you'll be responsible for creating, communicating and documenting immersive interactions for both our existing and future software applications. You will collaborate with other designers, product management and development teams throughout all stages of the product lifecycle. If you enjoy solving the most complex information design challenges, have an eye for usable and engaging products, and are looking to impact how users complete their work more efficiently, this job is for you.  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

The ideal candidate would possess:

• An online portfolio demonstrating relevant work (user flows, interaction diagrams, wireframes, page mockups)
• 4+ years experience as an interaction, or visual designer, in the Enterprise software space
• A degree in design, HCI or related field
• In-depth knowledge of design principles, processes, and best practices
• The ability to communicate effectively through spoken and written word
• A passion for making complex things simple
• A clean visual design sense
• Extreme bonus points for experience using Expression Blend
