Software Quality Assurance Manager, File360, Keyfile and Keyflow
Synopsis:
Seeking a Software Quality Assurance Manager with excellent communication skills to join our small, cross functional team to manage and execute structured regression and automated system testing for a Windows based document management product. Strong management experience is required to successfully achieve quality goals through a matrixed, cross functional software quality assurance team.
Test Automation
The candidate must possess strong experience in automating application testing by creating an organized and extensible set of automated tests. Strong development skills and the ability to adhere to coding standards are a must. Experience with preparing test code to be used in networked library location to be shared by several engineers and maintained under source control. The candidate will be required to develop automated tests and potentially test harnesses required to evaluate the quality of the application at levels ranging from nUnit functions,.NET Controls, COM APIs, Web Services, Database, FileSystem, Windows User interface, WebParts, and Browser User Interface. Experience in AutomatedQA TestComplete (or similar), Visual Studio 2008, or experience with WPF a plus.
Databases
The candidate must have experience with database installation and configuration. A working knowledge of the following DBMSs is critical: Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, Microsoft Access, Oracle 9i/10g/11g. He/she should have experience in the resolution of client to database server connectivity issues. A working knowledge of SQL and the ability to execute SQL statements to perform database queries, updates, deletes, and structural maintenance is required. Experience with Microsoft SQL CE is a plus. The candidate should be able to validate system functionality through a careful analysis of database state.
Environments
Experience with the installation, configuration and use of the following Windows operating systems and application servers is a must: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, IIS, and SharePoint. Experience with Windows Server 2008 is a plus.
General Requirements
- Ability to work independently with little daily direction.
- Strong people management skills required in order to manage SQA projects.
- Project management experience required to track and report against the overall SQA project schedule.
- Ability to determine the essential SQA tasks required to ensure optimal product quality within the planned SQA timeframe.
- Willingness to be the advocate for product quality in the face of demanding schedule pressures.
- Five or more years in Software Quality Assurance "whitebox" testing.
- Has worked in a networked environment where components required for testing are located in numerous networked locations.
- Experience testing commercial applications.
- Able to pave the way for automating application testing by preparing quality test cases.
- Possesses strong self-management and organizational skills, as well as top-notch oral and written communication skills.
- Has excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Has experience with creating test harnesses and automating test cases.
- Understands the general software development release lifecycle, source management and defect management methodologies.
- Has familiarity with all aspects of QA including functional, compatibility, load balancing and performance testing.
- Must be able to produce a well written communications and defect reports.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required. A BS in CS or EE preferred.

Software Support Engineer
Global 360 is currently seeking a Software Support Engineer to provide product support to Global 360 customers. The Global 360 Worldwide Support Center is an integral part of our imaging, workflow and document management software business. The group works directly with customers, software development and field personnel on mission critical applications. They are responsible for working with customers to assure customer satisfaction, prevent problems, and maintain the customer base. This includes timely resolution to incidents as they arise and providing proactive services to maximize system availability and user expertise. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and providing workarounds/fixes to complex problems; along with helping customers with installation and configuration issues that arise with the Global360 software products. The group is responsible for providing Global360 customers telephone, email, and on occasion on-site support for the Global360 suite of products.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to:
- Help maintain and improve the level of support we provide customers
- Have experience working in a worldwide support center supporting mission-critical applications
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to learn new technologies
REQUIREMENTS

- Knowledge and experience with:
- Various Database Applications (SQL, DB2, Oracle, etc.)
- Unix
- MVS mainframe a plus
- Web Server Applications
- Java / HTML Scripting
- Visual Basic / Java Programming
EDUCATION
College Degree, preferably a B.S. in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS), or relevant work experience
